Guess God decided it was time to ''Beam him up''. While I am not a huge Star Trek fan, I have watched all the TV shows and films and he was a great part of the formula cast ensemble and he will be sorely missed. RIP.

Oh no.. now what will Capt Kirk do.. ah well, time to turn in the wig... lol

on a serious note... Even though it is sad to lose someone as talanted as James Doohan it must be a relief for his family, he has been suffering for almost a year or more with this and now he truly is resting in piece.
My Brothers and Sisters all hated me 'cause I was an only child... -Weird Al (Generic Blues) I gave up on books when 'To Kill A Mockingbird' gave me no useful advice on how to kill a mockingbird.

This is too F**king wierd, but I was listening to the radio when I went out for dinner, and I'm not sure what radio station I was listening to, one of the pop Maryland stations actually, and they were paying their respects to James Doohan, played a couple clips of dialogue from him, William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, all set to the song/music of...

...Queen's AOBTD, then the DJ said ''James Doohan we will miss you, and there goes another one bites the dust.''

Bizarre!

James Doohan may have been born a Canadian but to millions he was their favourite Scotsman. RIP
