Hi Guys,
I have a few questions about AOBTD
1. I know the Red Special is seen in the video to the song, but i've heard that a telecaster was actually used to record the song, is this true?
2. The Feedback gaps in the song are great, but after Freddie sings "O take it" It makes a sort of motorbike noise, was this just a special effect noise, or amp feedback? and the rest is bass feddback i think

Experiment switching the pick ups and using a coin on the strings to get that overdriven raspy motorcycle sound - that's about the best advice that I can give you. I've come close on my Strat, using the amps overdrive, and a whacked out combination of the six (yeah - all 6) pedals in my board. I think I used the middle and bridge pick ups - I really can't remember - it's been a while since I had a chance to disturb the neighborhood.
