My new mix, this time 'Princes Of The Universe'.
I always liked the song, hope you will enjoy
this remix too!
By the way, I never noticed that Brian is the one that sings in the fast part; "We were born...".

Thank you, Daniel!
I like the guitars you put over the ending part and also, the quiet part in the middle before drums begin to bang. But still the changes between the versions are slightly noticable. All in all it´s good work again.

Glad you like it.
It was fun to do. :)

What´s the next thing you´ll to? I hope you´re willing to do some more? Lord Fickle has no time at the moment, so you´re the only one who´ll keep this forum runnig, :-))
I'll upload the 'ultimate' Headlong remix in a minute.
The next song? I don't know.
Any suggestions?

You have Greatest Video Hits 2??
So you can rip the channels of every song of this DVD??
So take one of them....
"The Miracle" has a lot of sound effects in its original version, perhaps something possible here..
Or something totally unusual: Calling All Girls. I guess, you would be the first person on earth to remix that song! I think, the whole Hot Space thing is not that bad, perhaps a remix can let the funky songs from that record become more modern or whatever...

Yes I have GVH 1&2 on dvd.
Yes maybe I'll do 'Calling All Girls'.
Only the one thing is, I don't have a instrumental version of 'Calling All Girls' or 'The Miracle'.
But I'll try it anyway :)

There´s no instrumental version of Calling All Girls.....
There´s one of The Miracle. If you want , you can send me an E-Mail. Then I´ll tell you where you can get it. In Japan, for example :-))

I'll first start with 'Calling All Girls'.
Edit; Can't do much with Calling All Girls.

Nice ideas there. If you don't mind a couple of suggestions, maybe you could bring up the volume of the a-cappella section (02:13 - 02:23), so it sounds smoother, and as the whole track is very bassy, I personally would have EQ'ed the bass down a notch accross the whole thing. Do you use Sony Soundforge? Try the Wave Hammer effect on the Guitar setting - quite interesting!
Ok, I'll bring up the a-cappella part, and down the bass.
I don't use Sony Soundforge.

Try it - it's good! What do you use?
A very simple program (not the best actually).
It's 'Magix Music Maker Generation 6 DeLuxe'.
The part in the beginning with the bass and drums is from 'The eYe', it already has a lot of bass from itself

Let me know if you want to try Soundforge. ;)
It looks like everbody is using it, so I want to give it a try too.
