Yeah it was just a crazy dream. In fact I'm sure part of why the mixes are the way they are is their unwillingness to let people have too much access to original tracks.
Incidently, during my absence I picked up the Peter Gabriel 'Play' DVD and was amazed how good a video collection with 5.1 mixes can truly be, when done properly.. ie; using all channels. That disc rocks!

Inu: See if he would compare the gap between WWRY/WATC on the CDs with the vinyl (and '70s/'80s tape) versions...I know it was never that long of a gap until the CDs came out ;) There was hardly any gap at all on the vinyl and tapes.
Also the very end of LIve Killers lasts a few seconds longer than it did on vinyl/tape, but that's a nice bonus so I hope they don't fix that one :)

Maybe this question has been asked before, but what is that sound that you hear on 'The Miracle' with the bass part (3:49)?

It's either a finger snapping, a metronome or one hand clapping. Ha! Seriously, it's supposed to be there. You can generally rule out a glitch if it happens continuously and right on a beat.
