Were you dropped on your head at birth?! Why the hell do you always have to insult me? You don't know a thing about me, and you're really getting annoying... I would have said this in the other topic but hellll since any topic with us both in it turns into fighting, let's quarantine it! Tell me, what's your problem with me?!?!?!?!!?

*hugs John Lennon close to her*

i wonder what john lennon would think about your pro gun opinions?????

*grin* Happiness is a warm gun!!!

yes, but that was a joke, John Lennon saw that on the front of a gun magazine somewhere and thought it was absurd, so he wrote a song with that as its title. He didn't really believe that happiness was a warm gun.

Duh! A warm gun means you just shot somebody! Obviously he did not feel happiness was really a warm gun.

yes i know that. the magazine cover had a smoking gun on its cover with the headline happiness........

Also, i'm sure john lennon would have more reason than most, not to be in favour of liberal gun laws.

Actually, or he could have been in favor of the NRA standpoint... If someone with a rifle had been there on December 8th, well things might have turned out differently.

hmmmm yes i suppose it might have done. unfortunately they never seem to be around when needed do they? of course if mark david chapman didn't have a gun things might have turned out differently too

also i'm sure if john lennon had been in britain rather than new york on dec 8th 1980 things would certainly have been different

point 2
With regards to war, john lennon said in one of his final interviews in 1980 something along the lines of, 'if there was another war, it be out there telling people not to fight!'

Yeah, 1980. Twenty-five years ago. Who says he would have the same opinion if he were alive today? Also, who says I have to believe everything John Lennon believes? I'm not a parrot.

i dpoubt john lennon would have suddenly taken up a right wing opinion to be honest.
he was fairly consistent in his anti war opinions throughout the late 60s and 70s.

we've no ancestral halls, no haughty portraits on our walls, no family monuments at all, unless it's my cousin sheila's stupendous clevage.

Yeah, he would have stabbed or hit Lennon with a hammer. Either way, John would have still died from the bastard.

Yeah, because you need a passport to go to a foreign country ;)

Two words: DAVID HOROWITZ.
"Brian May, Freddie will."

Well... I don't think John would be in the right wing, he was really against war and he wanted just peace all over the world. And btw... exmaple: Yoko hasn't changed a bit :P

The fact is look at David Horowitz. He was hanging around with the Black Panthers. Anything's possible.
