yesterday i got a mail from queenonline. an articel from the coming gigs in us. they wrote that queen sold 30 million records in us. since their beginning. do you think the number is true? isn't it more? i mean, they sold only in germany almost 18 million albums. i can't believe that...

WHy ask us. Reply to the email and ask for proof if it's that important to you.

Can you prove the German 18 million figure?

when queen played in frankfurt 3 month ago, there was a big report about the band on the radio. and the moderator just mentioned that they sold almost 18 million records just in germany.

no, its not very important. the states are such a big country, so its just a little bit strange for me that they sold "only" 30 million records in the united states. that's all.

i understand your doubt neodave......and i admire the data you´ve got nowtmeddle....anyway selling 30 million anywhere is a great achivement.....there are many bands that edit few albums which have great sells and th think they are the best...or the one hit wonder.......Queen Rocks
P
I'm afraid I'm to blame for some of those sales. I've bought most of the Hollywood versions multiple times.

Would have thought U2 would be on this list. They have been massive in the states since 1987.

That's Bollocks. ACDC have sold 12 Million copies of Back In Black, and must have cleared 3 Million of everything else.

Ah, you said British.
