All the UK music press I read keeps talking about the Proms and reviewing them.
In the USA, that's our High School Senior Year Dance, but obviously, in the UK, it's some significant national music event from what I can see...of a classical nature?
Please fill me in as it sounds interesting.

Barry, Thanks so much! This sounds like a wonderful Festival. Have you or anyone on QZ ever gone?
I have seen them on the T.V a few times, if I recall right, the BBC program was called "One Night At The Proms." On that site you can listen to the proms.
I´ve seen them on tv too, and all i can say is:
