I personally love songs like Khashoggi's Ship, The Miracle, I want it all, Scandal, Was it all worth it and Hang on in there

funny you got this, I heard the album the other day (after about 18 months).
Some good tracks on there, one above all is the 12" version of Scandal (incl. in the US 1991 Remasters).
It is better than Hot Space...

One though I always had was that "You don't fool me" was also written around this time. But sources say it's during HS.
What do you think? Does YDFM have that Miracle sound?

You know, I love Scandal too, but if you've listened to the commentary of GHV2, Roger explains that he had never cared for the song, and loathed the video shoot. Almost broke my heart.

The Scandal video isn't that great, I like the song but I don't like the videoclip imho ;).

The Breakthru video is one of their best clips, I think.
The song itself is one of their best too.

well thats your opinion and it angers me because i cant understand how anyone could think that because i love it so much, but thats why the words opinion and different exist because people are different.

Yeah it's a synth, darling. Kind of like I think John said, one of the reasons they started using synths is because they developed passed the klunky monophonic moog synth heard in like 70's progressive rock, I think it was Brian who may have said the quote now lol, anyway he was like they were used just to make an odd sound or whatever and he figured he could just get whatever sound he made out of his guitar instead of using something just to make a strange sound (paraphrasing) anyway then he said they started using synths because they could sound like an entire orchestra within a keyborad. Now I think about it again, I think John may have said the quote I'm thinking about, I don't knwo lol
