I think even with new material, the name is fine. I wouldn't mind a totally new name if there was a radical difference with the material, but I think PR isn't enough to shift BM's and RT's music away enough from Queen. A supergroup name would need to imply more of a foreign influence than just the vocalist, PR whose songwriting isn't good enough to alter May/Taylor from doing their material.

You know all you guys are saying so much shit about the name of the band. They are fucking Queen and that is it. It doesnt matter what the FUCK anyone thinks. Because that is who they ARE. Picture This you see John Deacon on the streets You are not going to say "Hey, Look John Deacon, the guy who played with The Immortals". The reason they put out the Queen name is because noone knows Brian May and Roger Taylor in some parts of the world. They know Queen the band who played WWRY, WATC and maybe Bo Rhap and AOBTD. So really shut the fuck up Queen is Roger and Brian Too it is not only Freddie Mercury. By the way this is put out to Queen+Paul Rodgers bashers. So let them be. This is excessive with the OMG Queen and Paul Rodgers Oh No. At least he is a fucking singer most of the bashers are stupid fucking teenagers. Very ignorant and hard-headed. I bet if Queen went with Mick Jagger or Roger Daltry. Everyone would FREAK THE FUCK OUT. Because most of the kids here dont know who they are. God, if the other 3 had died instead of Freddie, you would still think it was Queen. Get over it, it may not be the original Queen, but they're playing Queen songs. There's nothing wrong with keeping the Queen name alive, but I think they should shorten it to just QPR because Queen + Paul Rodgers is a bit long and tedious.
