As far as I know, it is unknown who wrote these songs. I read somewhere that Victory was originally a Queen track, but later recorded by Freddie en Michael Jackson and then re-recorded by The Jacksons. It seems unlikely that it was written by any Queen member if it ended up on that Jacksons' album. It also seems unlikely that it has been a 'Queen' track then in the early stages.
And what about State Of Shock? Again, unknown who wrote it. Freddie and Michael originally recorded it? Then as a single with Mick Jagger and then at Live Aid performed by Mick and Tina Turner! It all seems very blurry to me. Can anyone enlighten me?

State Of Shock was a Michael Jackson track originally (written around the time when he was splitting from the Jackson 5/Jacksons. He co-wrote it I do believe (cannot remember who with off the top of my head - I'll check when I get home). But - and don't quote me - Freddie thought it would be good to get the rest of the Jacksons involved and it then turned out as it did. So many different stories float around as to why Freddie didn't appear on the final version, but basically Michael met Mick Jagger, got him in on the act, the track grew, and is what it is now. Actually, one of my favourite Jackson tracks.

Its no wonder these tracks haven't been released... theyre truly awful. Well, atleast Jacksons vocals are. Jackson attemtping There Must Be More To Life Than This is laughable at best, insulting at worst.
I think State Of Shock is good actually. And in what way would you say his vocal is truely awful? Compared to....?

Because probably he only started the idea (Few lyrics and chords) Brian as a matter of fact started Pain is So Close to Pleasure. And he also didn't get credits

Wrong. It IS an official release. The one with Mick Jagger and Tina Turner is an unnoficial version, done solely for Live Aid becuase Michael Jackson couldn't be there.

There is, I do believe, and older demo from the the very early 80's, around the time of Dancing Machine and few of the other slighty newer style Jackson's songs with someone like Jermaine on vocals with Michael. It's slightly faster paced than the Freddie demo, yet still not as up-tempo as the final version.
