I'm gone!

Yup, I guess the time has come for me to say goodbye.

I had five great years on Queenzone, untill -basically since december last year- this place turned into a pighole I no longer wish to participate in.

One can live with all the stupidity, but the last past weeks I'm constantly under personal attack for the wrong reasons and I don't wish to keep on defending myself anymore.
To keep a long story short: I'm sick and tired of all the bullies, bullshit and false accusations in here.

Well congratulations pathetic individuals (you know who you are)(... then again, you are all probably too stupid and shortsighted to realise it is you), you succeeded in pushing me out!
The fact that this place has not been the place it used to be, makes leaving all the more easier.
It's just a shame that this had to happen in this year, the year that should be one big feast for all of us.

A sincere goodbye to all my friends - you too know who you are. You all got my e-mail and I will see you in there.
If any of you does not have it and wants to contact me - I'm sure you know who can give you my adress.

Cheers to all the nice people that I regularly came across in here. Maybe we'll meet again some time.

Speaking from experience, there is sometimes logic in walking away.

If you aren't too sure about being somewhere in the first place, having someone repeatedly and deliberately "insult" you on a regular basis can't be a good thing. Not to mention that on public message boards there is no real show of support... People tend to look away, which gives the impression of everybody ganging up on you.

In that case, it is absolutely vital for ones own mental health to leave.

And of course, what's to stop from returning in a few months? If things on the board are still the same, you can always leave again for a longer period of time.

Jeroen, please please please don't go. I have no idea who has bothered you but I doubt they contribute as much useful info as you do to this board. I must have missed the threads that have upset you but please..don't go. I don't have your email or anything bc I've not talked to you that much but I enjoy reading your posts and if you leave there will be a huge void on the board. If you leave, it will not make anything any better here. It will make things worse bc we'll have lost an excellent contributor and a TRUE fan in every sense of the word. This board is only as good as the responsible posters can make it. There is no need at all for you to defend yourself against anyone on here. I think I've said this before, you are a treasured poster here, to me at the very least and I am positive that I am not the only person on here that feels this way. Whenever I see a thread started by you I ALWAYS read it, if I see that you've commented on a thread, I ALWAYS read it. This can not be said for everyone on this board. There are many posters that I automatically ignore or skim over their comments. I'm simply not interested and can't be bothered to waste my time reading garbage.
