Possibly a trivial/stupid question

I read somewhere here that there was a program where you could seperate song channels from DVDs and DVD-As. Umm what program is it again? I've looked all over this forum for a link but couldn't find it (please don't kill me). Any and all help would be great. Thanks much in advance!
