I think it's got slightly improved sound, yes.. but then again, I'd prefer to stick with the original in this case.
Some of the non-techno, non-rap 1991 remixes are interesting. Tie Your Mother Down is another good one. But some just aren't different enough to really stir any excitement.

Hey sweden_man, if you have the money and get a chance to visit Best Buy West, they currently have a copy of the Hollywood version.
In comparison to the 2001 remaster, to me this 1991 version sounds much warmer and vinyl-like, plus the master tape was 10 years younger too, and you get the bonus tracks... definitely worth getting if you can.

I really do like the Liar remix, it's got a much fuller sound (I still love the orignal though). Same goes with the I'm In Love With My Car remix, accuality I almost like the remix a little better because it doesn't have the car noises at the end, but whatever.
