i know everyone seems to like football, but as wales won the grand slam this year i thought i'd ask

are there any rugby supporters on queenzone?
if so.....
who do you support?
favourite player past/present?
best match ever attended?
favourite rugby anecdote?
we've no ancestral halls, no haughty portraits on our walls, no family monuments at all, unless it's my cousin sheila's stupendous clevage.

Rugby is boring, but at least the players are not pussy enough to put tons of pads and helmets like on American football, which is a pathetic sport.

True. Most American Footballers are Faggots in pads.

yep me too
in fact the first year i had a season ticket was that 92/93 season, when the scarlets won the double and beat the world champions australia [test strength team]
what a great year. my particular favourites were trouncing swansea in the cup semi at the arms park.
beating cardiff in the arms park when colin did that rebound kick thing
and that fiday game at st helens when alan 'santa' reynolds gifted wayne proctor a try. alot of my friends were swansea supporters at the time and i'd had to put up with loads of santa nonsense cos he tackled emyr lewis at stradey. so for him to make an arse of it and give the scarlets a try was especially memorable.

YMLAEN LLANELLI!

Yes, i was at the arms park semi when proctor "did" mark titley, class, made him look like a twat and i was also at the final. Those were the days indeed. hell of a season that. Wasnt that the final where emyr lewis kicked the ball for Ieuan to chase ala the england game.
I hate these bloody osprey fans who have sprouted up all of a sudden, convinced that henson is god. didnt do much with the lions did he? well, neither did anyone else....
it was only a fewe years back that llanelli scored 120 odd points in 2 games against swansea, and to think i almost felt sorry for them.
