It works pretty well. There are some not-so-great parts but overall i think it can work. Just one big problem.. the vocal isn't loud enough. It seems to get lost in the mix sometimes.

This is Bizzare I like the way you've have arranged the Vocals with the Instrumental but the vocal has to be 'Pitched' Lower..the Key is wrong or something with Freddie's Vocal

If you listen to Brians Guitar in the 'Made In Heaven 'Instrumental( Chord ) then just try and sing play the game to (yourself) 'Open Up Your Mind'etc.. you will hear the correct sound 'Tune' in your Head for the Vocal
try Pitching it with that matching 'Vocal' in your Head
I'm propaply not making sense and its hard when you haven't got a Musical ear and I'm not saying you haven't but you need one of those Pitching Programs that will do it for you and I don't understand them, but I know what sounds Good, its unfortunate I don't have the skill to use them and I give you Guys Credit for Mixing these Songs I love listening to them -Keep it Up its very Enjoyable!

Oh dear! Sorry Dan, that's just too grating to listen to. The actual vocal parts fit the track very well, and you've placed them ideally, but to make this listenable, there's got to be some pitch adjustment. Whether either track will still then sound acceptable, will remain to be seen. I think I might be more inclined to try to make the instumental track match the vocal track. Changing the pitch on vocals doesn't usually seen to work.
10/10 for effort - you're certainly picking some challenging mixes to attempt! I'm afraid I am not that brave at the moment! It's hard enough trying to mix two versions of the same song!

I think Felix has said basically what I would have said. Some things match vocals wise and some dont. Some good ideas there and it is a good attempt.

Nice tempo to the vocal and ideas there. However, I agree with everyone who said it just doesn't match because of the key. I can't believe Jeff is saying we're all mad cause it should be obvious that it really doesn't match the key of song.
I think, like Fickle, I'll look at this with Melodyne as it should be interesting to hear what this does sound like when pitched correctly.

I did a little bit of pitching, but couldn't do to much because it would sound unnatural.
@LF; yeah, I like more the challenging things instead of making 'just' a mix between a normal and instrumental version :)

Right. It's not a bad idea, but it sometimes sounds off-pitch, but it could work very well.
