There are a number of Queen biographies out there. Many feature poorly written, speculative or just plain false information. I picked up a couple of these myself in the mid-90s.
I was just revisiting "The Complete Guide to the Music of Queen" (Omnibus Press, 1994) by a Peter K. Hogan and the following passage struck me as not only poorly written, but conjures up of some sort of horror movie. I know how much some of you love dwelling on details of Freddie's death, so you should enjoy this:
First Freddie's statement that he has AIDS is reprinted, then: "A little over 24 hours after issuing this statement, Freddie Mercury died. The following day, Dr. Gordon Atkinson (Freddie's GP) announced grimly that Freddie had "slipped back a little bit today." Freddie's parents Bommi and Jer came to visit, and made their farewells."
So apparently, a day after dying, Freddie came back from the dead and received visitors! Discuss amongst yourselves...

No that can happen...Your pulse can get so low that it cant be made out, Then you get pronounced dead, My friend at work a few days ago his nan was in hospital really ill and they couldnt do anything for her to they got all the family around her and they switched off her life support machine, then she started coming round..and in the next 24 hours or so she was talking slightly and communicating anyway she could in her condiction, then she passed over the following morning...Honest to god!
So it may of happened...Who knows...!!!

this effect kicks in, and brian/roger/john offers to bury him
halfway to the graveyard, when everyones gone, they let him loose, he dyes his hair, wears colored contact lenses, and never dresses the same
then he fleed, found himself a husband, and they lived happily ever after

that is possible, but your not actually dead till theres no brain activity going on, which cant be fixed
so you cant really come back to life if your really dead
