The meaning of Killer Queen has been speculated for quite some time. Although the lyrics repeatedly refer to the Killer Queen as a "she" it has occured to me that in fact this queen was none other than a male prostitute, possibly one Freddie's first gay experiences. The lyric that gave it away was as follows: "momentarily out of action, temporarily out of gas" I doubt Freddie could wear out a female prostitute, but a male, like most males, would have a 10-20 minute refractory period after sex which would put him "momentarily out of action."

Wow nice work, thanks for that. :)
Interesting..... :)
Very interesting... :)
Wasn't he just going out with Mary then anyway?
Yes,he was with Mary then
Yep :)
Actually, didn't Freddie say it referred to that straight guy he fancied - "I wrote that song for you - I'm the Queen and you're the killer because I can't have you" or something??

Eric Hall, the promotions guy for EMI. Or so Eric says all of the sudden, this year.
Claims Freddie came into Eric's hotel room, sat on his bed, held Eric's hand and told Eric that he (Freddie) told the other story as a PR story for the public, but in reality, he (Freddie) wrote the song about Eric, because Freddie thought he was in love/crush wahetver with Eric, but could not have Eric, so Eric was the ''Killer'' and Freddie was the ''Queen''.
Eric said he thanked Freddie politely and told Freddie that he (Eric) was Jewish,(BTW, I am VERY Jewish and I never noticed Jewish men who are straight constantly hugging and kissing other men)...
... and that Jewish men are very open about hugging and kissing people/men, but for Freddie to not get the wrong impression, that he (Eric) was not gay, and batted for the other team.
Freddie said ok (so says Eric), and sat on Eric's bed like a lovelorn child with a crush holding his hand for like an hour and then left.
OOOOOOKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!
1) I don't believe this story of Eric's.
2) IF I did believe this story of Eric's, I think that Freddie (IF this story is true), did this little act and made up how he felt about Eric and that the song was about Eric
....(Yeah I KNOW Freddie was gay.
.... But I am referring to why Freddie would do such an oddball thing anyway)...
...because Freddie was a smart businessman.
No laughing from the peanut gallery.
This was before Queen broke.
#1 IF this story is true, Freddie knew how to ''get the job done'' and sell Queen. ''Killer Queen'' amazingly got radio airplay and alot of promotional push after this. From my point of view, from Freddie's point of view, he would have done this to er..''flatter'' Eric, knowing that if Eric was gay and interested in Freddie...well.
#2 And If Eric was gay but NOT interested in Freddie, he would be flatterered because Freddie didn't jump him, he just flirted and it wasn't like sexually harassing the employee.
#3 And if Eric was straight, same as #2.
Now the only reason this story MIGHT be true and as I said IF it is true I think Freddie was putting on a little show for Eric, it's bevcause Freddie did the same thing with Bi-sexual/friend/influential Capitol One DJ Kenny Everett, who was the first DJ to ever play BopRhap, and a shitload of times at that, pushing it through the roof and getting it noticed.
Freddie was no fool.
IF this story is true, I think Freddie was acting, and er..''schmoozing'', ''flirting'' with the paid hekp to get ''Killer Queen'' radio airplay and promotion, but like I said, IF this really happened at all. (just my opinion)
Alrightly - glad we got that figured out.
I always wondered about that song.
I think Freddie was sexy as hell being gay.

It makes sense, but you can go further in the search:
1) Momentarily out of action - could be indeed the refractory period after sex.
2) Temporarily out of gas - Could be talking about his ass!
Sorry, but couldn`t help it :))
(but in a funny guy like Freddie, wouldn`t surprised me at all...)
Take care
wasnt he still straight at the time of the release of sheer heart attack, cause if so, how could it have been about a male prostitute if he wasnt gay?

This is the most naive freakin bunch of people.
As Eric Hall would say, Veyizmere.
