Its a skin disorder that is caused by AIDS.
they are cancerous skin lesions that are one of the first visible signs that someone is no longer HIV. it shows the onset of full-blown AIDS
as for the 'tache - this was around long before that! - it was possibly more of an image thing that blended in with his new openly-gay lifestyle

not just AIDS... many old people get it (the majority)....
You go to a nursing home and will see it on old people, especially their arms and legs, but face at times too.
It is like bad bruises under the skin but can get really bad... just look it up on an image search on www.av.com

i didn't say otherwise. i tried to keep my reply related to FREDDIE as the subject clearly was intended that way - otherwise why was the tache mentioned?
as for the sarcoma. it usually shows a breaking down of the immune system - evident generally in the elderly and usually in Jewish and eastern mediterranean folk.
but in the case of HIV patients it shows that the Immune system has 'given up' and AIDS has developed

I believe Freddie grew a light BEARD to cover those marks, not a moustache, like in the IWIA video. He had given up the moustache a couple of years ago and he didn't grow it once again, as far as I know.
