Hi everyone. I need your help on this one. You see i got to write an essay for my university degree on MASS MEDIA, on the topic “OPENING MUSIC ON TV-NEWS BROADCASTING". I will have to make an analysis on the music-score
played in the opening of TV-news for the major channels here in Greece. To analyze the harmony, beat, and melody, and what effect is it trying to achieve on the viewer-listener. If you have any knowledge on this topic, and want to share it or any link to guide me on this subject (psychoacoustic is the term i think) your help will be very valuable.

It's an interesting subject.. I can't offer much except I know of one song that was used here (I'm in Kansas, USA) for a few years which you could study as an example.
