Where's Freaky DEAKY?

Okay... every article I've read about the new tour has left out John Deacon's name... is he touring? If he's not, which is a shame, why isn't he? and who's their bassist? Could they find one as good?

Danny Miranda is a good bassist on the 05 tour.

Just leave him alone fro God's sake. He's just not interested in Queen anymore...and so be it..

i know...it's sad, but they do sound great! (i was blessed to have heard them on the radio doing Tie Your Mother Down and Fat Bottomed Girls) ....53 days!!!! ^.^

Don't worry about the bassist. Any person with a good head on his shoulders should know that John's main contribution to Queen was NOT as a bassist. He was a good musician, but certainly not unique in respect to his bass playing abilities. John's major contribution to Queen was his ability to write classic pop style songs, which helped to balance out the prog/glam rock musical styles of the other band members, particularly Freddie. John helped to make Queen a more well-rounded band and wrote many sweet pop ballads. John's non-contribution to Queen should be no more an issue than say, Mike Stone not touring with the band. He was there, but he's fine to just let it go, have his songs played, and enjoy his life.

I actually quite like Danny Miranda, no offence to John whatsoever, there's something about him. He seems like a nice guy, plays with a smile, looks like he's enjoying it.

I've just got back from holiday in Las Vegas, and I was lucky enough to get tickets for the Vegas We Will Rock You, and Danny Miranda was playing bass again for the show (not sure for how long though). The good thing about the Vegas We Will Rock You is, other than the amazing venue, but you can actually clearly see the band playing directly above the stage, not stuck away at the side. Since playing on tour, Danny Miranda has seems to just have completely come to life playing Queen songs. It's almost like having Brian or Rog play for the house band, it's a weird feeling.
