She showed zero respect for the paying fans. She ought to refund every ticket. I'd like to see someone sue her for this.
I've haven't liked her since she reduced Ozzy to a reality show freak. She comes across as an arrogant manipulative self serving bitch. Even her now defunct talk show was all about her ego.

Downloaded the gig from dime, the artwork for the bootleg is awesome btw.

Sharon Osbourne surely doesn't play with a full set of cards. I guess the truth hurts, Iron Maiden don't need a reality tv-show or a teleprompter.

Not only the fans, after she said she was guilty, the band should sue her too. And this is America, if the fans and the band sue her she will have to refund or even pay the band for lack of respect!

Take care

Bruce has also been complaining about the US (how much the audiences suck, how bad the live on the road is, how he hates wallmart etc.). that didn't help either. And of course Zakk Wylde was completely pissed of (as he is a big redneck "true amerikan") He was supporting Sharon in this whole disaster. He's a great guitar player, but as a person a complete bastard.

By the way, the full gig is on Dimeadozen. Quality isn't the best, but hey; it's historic already!

The thing about Zakk is diferent, because he sees Ozzy as his father really. When he talks about Ozzy in interviews he gets emotional.

What Bruce did was wrong too, but the sabotage thing it`s just too much for me to deal with, it`s beyond everything i`ve heard in this business, shows no respect for the fans, the band and even Ozzy`s name that will be associated to this thing (OZZFEST). If she was pissed of with Bruce she would have to talk to him, looking at his face.

Take care

I am a fan of both Sabbath and Maiden. I enjoy both and pay much respect to both. More so Maiden, listening to them in the late 80's as a young fella. But thats beside the point.
Sharon was out of line. Well and truly out of line. She was basically looking for, waiting for an excuse to make a headline. And if it didn't come, she would make one. But she got it wrong. Really wrong!
The Brit flag during the song The Trooper is part of the song, part of the performance, but most importantly its flown out of respect. Its Maidens way of educating Metal fans about their history. Some bands, QUEEN among them, use their music to try and get messages across to the young people. Maiden are certainly no exception.
It makes me very angry and upset at what has happened. As an Aussie, the spirit of the ANZACS is very much part of culture, my upbringing. I can relate very much to the theme and attitudes that Maiden try to encourage by waving that flag and playing that song. MOTORHEAD do the exact same thing with their song 1916. Songs designed for tongue-in-cheek headbangers to take a reality check, look at their/our history, and show respect where respect is due.
What Sharon did was insult that meaning, and hinder the ability for Maiden to get that message across. And for what? Another cheap ridiculous publicity stunt for MTV to promote an even more ridiculous TV show.
There are more to life than making a headline.
I think even QUEEN sang about that eh?
