Alright, this si a bit random but it just popped in my head. Before this year I have never heard of the term 'stones' in relation to a persons weight. If anyone would be willing to explain how it exactly works and I guess what in lbs is what in stone (if that makes any sense), it would be much appriecated . . . sort of . . .

I've been curious about this too.. but too lazy to look it up to see if there's a conversion table or something.
So I'll wait for someone else to do that..

14 pounds equal one stone
Ahh, thank you.
16 ounces (oz) = 1 pound (lb)
14 pounds (lbs) = 1 stone (st)
to put into kilos for yer
2.2 lbs = 1 kg
or 1 lb = .4536 of a kilo
so someone who weights 10 stone = 140 pounds
or 63.5 kilos

Thanks for the info, guys. But what happens if you get stoned and eat a pound of M&Ms? And if Hot Rocks by the Stones costs 11 pounds, how much does Keith Richards weigh? See where it gets confusing?

and Mick Jagger's 'quarter-pounder' isn't a full quarter-pound acording to Keith's latest comments
apparently Mick doesn't measure up in the trousers department - either in Metric or Imperial
