it seems that it's an Audio CD, though.
I mean, is it sourced from an MP3/compressed audio or the uncompressed (and same-quality) WAV?

your guess is as good as mine! To be honest, ive never seen someting like that before. Im used to seeing them in a 2 pack or even 3 pack, but not on one disk

Two 40 min. LP's can generally fit on an 80 min. CD(-R).

I'd stay away from bootlegs though.

I've wondered about these myself. I certainly don't need them but I'd be curious about how they sound and how they are put together. Inu is right, however I've seen some of these where the combination would definitely not fit on one disc, so I wonder if they might be edited.

True. Both those cd's barely fit too (16 sec. left over) so yeah it works.. :)

I have never heard those 2 on 1 discs, but I do know that when Ebay did crack down on selling of unauthorized material, they deleted such items. Seems they gave up on that a long time ago. The 2 on 1 discs are big in/from Russia for whatever reason. I know the whole Slade catalogue was done in this manner.

you can get 83 mins onto an 80min cd - with overburn - if your burner supports it
and it works fine

Don't buy it. Buy the official stuff.

Since it is a bootleg, you have no garantee whatsoever about the quality. Spend a few more bucks on the real thing.

People, PLEASE stop making this stupid mistake:

BOOTLEG: Previously unissued material released by someone other than the record company the artist is signed to.

PIRATE: Previously RELEASED material issued by someone other than the record company the artist is signed to.

No need to get condescending about it, especially when your definition is not that clear.

Is a Live at Budapest DVD a pirate or bootleg? What about a CD collection of b-sides and remixes? Both were officially released, yet are long out of print. I would imagine most people would consider that bootleg material and not pirated.

I would say:
A pirate is an unofficial exact copy of an official release, a bootleg is an unofficial release of material, wether it was released before on some official format or not.

Just my two cents.

OK.
Thanks for your input, fellas.
I'll try to see if I can snag the official stuff via eBay sometime soon.
