Sail away sweet Sister, penned by Brian May, has an extended title in some occurances.

Does anyone have any background on the reference to "To the sister I never had..." ?

It might be that Brian never had a sister - the easy answer - but I'm just interested if there is any other history n this song.

Also, in the cover sleeve of News of the World "All Dead, All Dead" had a piece of poetry before the actual words of the song ... any info on this?
The first time I heard the album I was expecting the words of the poem to be part of the song.

...and SASS is written about his sister (that never had) ;)
And as the seasons turn the days to years She holds her pictures, hears the silent cheers The days grow lonely for the dancing Queen And now she dances only in her dreams...
