As song writers, they are both amazing and can both cover various styles easily.
As musicians and producers, overall, there a generally few who better them.
As media personalities, they are pure value for money.
And as stage presences, although both put on different types of show, both are probably, and will always be, the best at what they do/did.

well jacko is the better dancer, we all know freddie cant dance,
freddie best strutter i mean nobody struts like mr mercury,
i deffo think freddie takes the title as songwriter i just think he's pure genius (barcelona album).
best vocalist...EASY!! freddie mercury no contest,
jacko is a good performer in his day and i love the stuff from the 8o's.

Freddie, of course. There's absolutely no point in asking on a Queen forum...Michael Jackson is talented, though.
Michael Jackson is a great singer, but a dodgy character, whereas Freddie is the greatest singer EVER and, as far as I know, is perfectly alright.
