The problem with RW and Queen is simple, RW does not belong in their league. Queen fans simply don't want to see this cracker up on stage, trying to be Freddie. Williams doesn't suck overall, but compared to Queen, he sucks big time!!!

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Robbie is a fantastic performer and on that basis he is easily on a par with Freddie for grabbing the audience by its collective balls and giving them two hours' fantastic entertainment.

As for the imitating Freddie argument, what he wore, what he did with his mike stand .... *yawn*

The same thing is available for the trainers and as far as the armlet, i think it was very "freddish" if you think about his performances. And the white t-shirt was by far the coolest thing he would ever wear that day, his entire outfit was a casual one, he really looked good performing and to me he had one of the best performances ever, both musical and in style.

I love Freddie, BUT Stryder, my fashion mentally challenged/impaired child YOU NEED QUEER EYE FOR THE STRAIGHT GUY if you actually think Freddie was the ''Best''dressed.

Freddie wore casual crap. He looked great and smart because he effervecsed charisma, bravado,etc...which made him appear to look great,and yes, his bravado and showmanship had him carry off that casual look with flair.

But well dressed? Maybe for going to the pub getting fish & chips.

Bono and Paul Young both wore designer suits with period piece type flouncy ''Wuthering Heights''as I put it since I don't know the actual designer name for it, men's designer blouse shirts with suit/coats, trousers, and upscale boots.

Cripers...even Paul McCartney, Sting, Phil Collins, and Eric Clapton wore nice men's shirt/blouses with slacks. Bob Geldof wore jeans but with a blouse/shirt.

You definitely need some fashion assistance and judgement....PRONTO!!!!! Get the fashion police!!!!

Sorry Mrs. Taylor, have to disagree with you on your statement. Freddie's legend was cemented at Live Aid simply for the fact that it wasn't a Queen audience he won over, it was a crowd who probably contained a pretty high number of 80s music fans who thought Queen were 70s dinosaurs. The energy and effort he put force that day were freakish. He literally won the crowd over, his voice was enormous. I've heard Billy Joel and Phil Collins try to do their variation of Freddie's crowd exercises and their voices were thinner than Lindsay Lohan after a two week coke binge. Robbie Williams voice is scrawny also, but I will give him credit for trying as he would suck his own cock if he felt that he'd win a crowd over. Bottom line is he tries way too hard, but he's a good showman. But in Freddie's league? Please. Just shows how far standards have fallen. Next thing you know Constantine form American Idol will be in Freddie's league as a singer for his version of Bo Rhap.
