Please remove the link. There are official files on that website, and sharing of official material is forbidden.

Indeed!

And make it very quick!!

The Innuendo-album??
Are you nuts???

...I'm gonna throw up...

Not just Innuendo, either. All of the official albums are on there. I felt like a looter just looking at the list!

Why be so rude and arrogant?

Either play by the rules - or - if you are not happy being part of this club - move over to Queenonline.

No official downloads means - NO OFFICIAL DOWNLOADS - period. So what gives you the right to come on here and dictate policy to the masses?

We are all welcome and appreciated guests in this house, but if you are unhappy with the simple house rules... b*gger off to somewhere that is more accomodating to your needs.

Oh yes, official albums are very rare, indeed.

Also, there are some bootleg recordings and out of print albums there. I just go for the ROIO things and the albums that are out of print. Calling All Stations by Genesis is OUT OF PRINT in the US so downloading the album is no choice. I have seen some concert bootlegs on ther Queen at Madison Square Garden 1977, Wembley Arena, 1980 and the BBC Sessions. There is a double edged sword to this. One hand, it is great for bootlegs and OOP items. On the other, it is not good for legitimately available things.

Would the fact that the files are from another site and don't actually have any direct links to the actual files themselves mean that Queenzone doesn't need to worry about being shut down?

Not that I'm supporting the fact that people are putting standard albums on the net though for download, when people should be buying them in the first place.

I would happily buy more Live Queen albums on CD from different shows, but they are not released, so whos the fool for not releasing them.

some of you guys are really silly...

there are tons of sites who provide links to thousands of all kinds of illegal stuff and they are doing just fine to this day. The only ones that ocasionally get shutdown are the ones that provide movies(RIAA guys are persistent). Queenzone will never get shutdown (at least not for this).

i do not necessarily approve of the illegal file sharing, but stop saying that queenzone will be shutdown.

poltergeist: some of you guys are really silly...

Why?

This is not your house (or mine) and the only rule we are ever asked to observe is that we provide NO official downloads. That is a house rule. Regardless.

As I have said above, Guests should:

Either play by the rules - or - if (they) are not happy being part of this club - move over to Queenonline.

No official downloads means - NO OFFICIAL DOWNLOADS - period. So what gives (these guests) the right to come on here and dictate policy to the masses?

We are all welcome and appreciated guests in this house, but if (some) are unhappy with the simple house rules... (they can) b*gger off to somewhere that is more accomodating to (their) needs.

there are tons of people who kill and steal. The only ones that ocasionally get arrested.

i do not necessarily approve of the killing people, but stop saying that it breaks the rules and laws.

Right?

no, not really. Killing and stealing are punished in all the countries I know of. Posting links to illegal sites is not considered a crime in most countries. Why do you think BitTorrent is alive and well?
S
Because it's peer-to-peer.

It's not a crime, but as I wrote in other topic - ask Mr Scully about his previous site and what's happened because of Queen's mp3s which he posted there. It's reality!
S
And to be honest - I meant that we must respect rules and laws of Queenzone, I didn't mean country's laws.
