I've missed Queenzone....but not the stupid posts....

I joined Queenzone a long time ago because I love Queen, and it is a great way to interact with those sharing the same liking towards the band. Some of you may remember me, for you have been a member for quite some time as well. And for those who don't know who the hell I am because they joined while I was absent, I extend a warm, general welcome. So now I shall proceed to my point....

Things really haven't changed much since my last time on here. There are a lot of the great people on here still (i.e. Linda of the Valley) that know better than to create a bunch of online drama. But sadly, there are those who post idiotic things to slander and insult either the band, a band member, or Mr. Mercury himself. Sad as it may be (and is), what is even sadder are the ones who give in to it, ranting on about the post and making a bigger deal out of some stupid ass who thought he/she would be cool by making all the others mad.

Come now people.
The ones who post these things don't deserve to gain feedback. We should all know this.
These kinds of things give Queenzoners headaches.


But please don't think I'm trying to insult you because I "think I'm better than all of you."
That isn't the case, and I don't think I'm better than any of you. But why don't we just ignore these people with stupid posts? Let us be happy Queenzoners....not stupid ones. :)

I've only been here for a little over a year but after everything I've read on here, I've realized that Queenzone's just a message board like any others. It has its ups and downs and its share of insane posters but it's also got some great posts and a community that more often than not makes me proud to be a Queen fan. I've heard so many people going on about how the boards were at their peak when they first started coming on (not saying you are, though!)...but face it, there's always going to be some crazies that drive us insane but this place really is great, and I've learned so much from my time on here, which has more than made up for anything else.
