So when exactly was the last verse of A winter's tale recorded? Anyone have an exact link to make it a fact?

"What David said was: Fred phoned him and went to record the last verse of Winter's Tale. A couple of days later he heard Fred was back in London, and he died shortly afterwards. Probably that's why Brian thought the last recording had been Mother Love. "
I didn't hear him say it in an interview or something, so I heard a totally different thing. But he indeed died about 2 weeks after his last recording

Oh okay thanks, because I asked because I thought Freddie was bed ridden atleast his last week from what I've read, I'm not privy to all the facts of\course but if thats the case and I see nothing to see why it's not, thats a very powerful performance, I always loved that song and to me that makes it a lil more powerful. I hope I can have that strength during my everyday life, maybe it's something to strive for. Now I know it's just a song and insignificant in the svheme of the universe but still it took a lot heart IMO

Heh don't feel silly. If a song can make you feel that, then the guy that wrote it succeeded in his mission.
