I don't think they're actually on drugs, I think it's more of an ironic commentary on this intelligent design thing. The old 'how are your views any more valid than mine' argument.

I read most of it. Never laughed so hard in my life. Damn near fell off my chair, especially the crap about as the number of pirates fell, global warming increased, and the part about HIM creating...midgets!
Also the story of the immaculate conception of the woman eating at the Olive Garden, when HIS Noodly Appendage caressed her. And she will name her child... PREGO!
I took this as and thought it was supposed to be a facetious, pointed joke at all the right wing bible thumpers....and their closed minded theories of evolution by God (as they see it)
