I smell bullshit! Considering that Brian, in his book Queen and I, stated that Freddie had never touched drugs in the early days, and that his first high was due to making himself tea which had not had the marijuana buds taken out of it, I have a hard time believing that in less than 4 years, he went from nothing to heroin addiction. Freddie prided himself on being clean in the early years. I believe he got involved in the cocaine scene in the late 70's, but heroin's the granddaddy of them all - pretty serious shit. I don't believe that's what BoRhap's about, unless he wrote it regarding someone else - Jimi Hendrix or such.
Thank you, God bless you, sweet dreams you lot of tarts, Good-bye!

People are always asking me what my lyrics mean. Well I say what any decent poet would say if you dared ask him to analyse his work: if you see it, darling, then it's there.
Freddie Mercury, In an interview

think about it. we'll all see different things in the songs, but only the writer knows what its truely about. So freddie's songs will be a mystery for ever. as will brians, rogers and johns too probably....

Lovin this quote by the way!!

I do think Brian May wrote "All Dead, All Dead" after his cat died. But this cat died when he was still a child...
heyheyheyhey, it was the DNA...

You forgot voodoo: All Dead All Dead.
And Murder: Killer Queen, the whole Live Killers Album, Hitman, Too much Love will kill you, BoRhap ...
And there's a song about vivival, too: I'm going slightly mad.

Then I guess you don't listen to anything by Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, The White Stripes, Metallica, much less..

The Doors (The End, Break On Through To The Other Side)

The Eagles (Witchy Woman, Life In The Fast Lane)

Fleetwood Mac (Gold Dust Woman, Gypsy)

The Beatles (Helter Skelter, Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds, Happiness Is A Warm Gun)

The Rolling Stones (Paint It Black, Sympathy For The Devil, Under My Thumb, Rough Justice, Brown Sugar)

Jimi Hendrix (Purple Haze, Foxy Lady)

Heart (Magic Man, Barracuda)

Eric Clapton (Cocaine)

and Every FUcking music artist on the FNG planet, because at one time or another, they all included topics about drugs, booze, sex, gay erotica, violence, war, evil, etc. in their lyrics...it's music nimrod...like MOVIES...include the same thing.

Most movies from Star Wars to Gone With The Wind to Westerns to CARTOONS, (have you seen BAMBI! where MAN murders Bambi's MOTHER and sets fire to the forest, killing all the innocent animals!)include any of the above.

As does literature, theater, OPERA (YES...Opera, the grand classic form of ALL music and SHAKESEPEARE (YES the grand form of all Theater/plays)....BOTH

... contain dark tales of MURDER, Bigotry, infidelity, alcoholism, betrayal, madness, intolerance, racsism, sex, etc. etc.

When was the last time you attended ''The Barber Of Seville'', ''Othello'', ''Hamlet''.

Hey..Freddie, Queen and Rock and Roll have NOTHING on good old...

...Shakespeare, and Opera.....

GET OVER IT!!!!!!!

It's called make believe/fictional entertainment...which I might add ALL (INCLUDING Freddie and Queen) also contains....

...Love, tolerance, hope, faith, inspiration, romance, good triumphing over evil, man's humanity TO man, social coomentary about peace, turning the other cheek, loving one another.....

.....Try not looking at things with ONE sided Tunnell Vision.

....You might like what you see when you open your eyes, mind, and heart.....

There's a picture growing in my head ... of a gently smiling young man, sitting on a wooden bench amongst blooming trees, stroking and feeding a little cat which he just had saved from the dangerous street ... he listens to music from his old but still working grammophone ... sounds like angel's voices and bible sayings ... he wears a clean white shirt and drinks fresh spring water from an old mug ... next to him there's a book ... looks like an old bible, heavily used and torn but that's no problem for him, because he knows all the words in it ... oh, look! A deer jumps in front of him, it has no fear, because there's such a warmth around the young man ... it curiously steps towards him, the young man smiles and strokes its head, then the deer sits down beneath his feet ... what's that noise? Oh, a bunch of little children come running, shouting "Vivival, Vivival! Please tell us a story! Play with us!" ... they gather round him, he hands the cat to one of the kids and starts telling a fairy tale ... but ... what's that? A soft female voice from somewhere above says: "Vivival, wake up now, stop dreaming. Time for your medication! Yes, fine vivival, such a lovely Vivival, fine drinky drinky his medicine. And now the doctor wants to see you because of your lobotomy."
... I'll be back again before it's time for sunny-down ...

I think vivival's a genius, a true comic genius. I was just addressing the issue for the sake of others who were getting upset - I don't want new QZers taking this crap seriously. As for vivival, keep it up, I always get a good laugh from your posts.
