I'm not too troubled about their policy.

There is a chance that some record company would use those taped sections as an excuse to have a site shut down, and I wouldn't want that to happen.

It's fairly easy to guess the reactions of a record company if you're only distributing one artist, but there are too many chances of being shut down with thousands of artists.

Good point about the Sheffield show. In theory I think QP can sue people for sharing it, because it IS official available. It's just like making real media poor quality files of official albums. Downgrading doesn't allow one to offer official material. Just my two cents.

By the way, I think DaD is doing a good job on the official issue. They choose to stay on the save side. They also don't allow bootlegs from artists who don't allow them to be shared. All this keeps them away from legal issues and allows them to stay at the same web-adres without being forbidden and reopening again under another name.

I can see this torrent, which is just for two songs, or I can make a torrent for the whole concert - given that this has been around for awhile I don't know how many seeders there will be on Dime. Which would you prefer?
