im just wondering cos i was reading his biography and it says he was born in zanzibar,moved to india and his sister was persian and his funeral was zoroastrian(which is mainly famous in persia/iran!)

Persian is rhyming slang for drugs. Persian rugs=Drugs. So when Freddie said he was Persian, what he actually meant was that he was off his tits on some illegal substance or other.

ive since found out he IS of iranian descent.
it says indian on his BC cos thats where he was living at the time maybe.
if u look at where is says RACE it looks like it says parse/persa!! anyway thanks again!

Freddie's family were living in Zanzibar at the time of his birth, not India. The word written by "Race" is "Parsee". That refers to Freddie's religion. Parsee or Parsi's are followers of the Zoroastrian religion. Hope this helps to clarify things a little further...
