Let me take a role call

for the tour

I'm kind of against the tour. For the most part I don't like the name they picked, as wel as the title of the album. Their actual touring kind of bothers me but I know they have the right to do it if they wish.

I'm totally behind the new tour, the album, the DVD when it comes out and anything else that comes along. Brian and Roger have been dormant too long.

i think Brian Roger and John have earned the right to do what they feel is best but i am against the tour. Havent got a problem with them using the name Queen in fact if they made up some other silly name i would feel its stupid and pointless and it is Queen+ not just Queen but i personally do not like Paul Rodgers and am against but like i say its up to them i wouldnt want to go and see them but it doesnt burn me with rage either!

Who are they then? They are just as much of Queen as the four of them. Its not thier fault Freddie died and John does not want to participate. They are playing the songs that they wrote as Queen and keeping Queen alive. They also are letting younger generations who were not even around when the four of them were together become fans of Queen. In my opinion it wouldnt matter who they got as a frontman or what they called themselves,they would still be criticized.

True. Well, Freddie dying anyway. Brian & Roger were never as close with John as they are to each other.

No, they are playing the songs they wrote as individuals...ie: "Fat Bottom Girls" = Brian May... and played under the umbrella of the name Queen. But Queen was the 4 we know. Spike & Danny aren't in the credits of my old Queen albums.

But in a "tribute band" type atmosphere.
If I say so myself, I am one hell of guitar player, and practice my ass off.... if I go out on the road with John Deacon, and 3 other musicians....and John + his band plays the songs he played while in Queen.... is he allowed to use the Queen name?? can he be Queen + Timmy, Bill Bob, and Sharron G, featuring Barry Manilow on vocals???

Kind of lame, huh??

If they went out as Brian May & Roger Taylor FROM QUEEN + legendary front man Paul Rodgers...no one could have a problem with that.

I am FOR the tour. Any Queen is better than no Queen, am I right? :D

Im seeing 50% of Queen im glad thats better then 0% then all of them being dead...

Thats 50% gone and 50% still performing...
Makes those who agree and been to the tours are seeing 50% and yes this had to turn out as a maths lesson as some do not and i repeat do not get it. Thank you.
