Paul looked like he was getting ready to be shipped to the old folks home in that pic, now he's all buff and dare I say sexy. He has a heart throbe look going. I gotta say he's the only guy in his 50's I can think of who decided to make a run for a sexier look, usually thats the time they try to tone down their looks. That takes balls.

That's a matter of opinion. He was a lot buffer for sure, guess he's been hitting the weights. Even made his voice huskier too I guess.

As for the odd look to Freddie's eyes, did you not notice the large amount of BRIGHT LIGHTS all around the stage? Unless his pupils were the size of needles, he'd need to squint.

I just wanted to say that there are many factors that could cause his skin to appear different at the two stages you mentioned. The main reasons that come to my mind would be:
1. Change in lighting and film quality of the recorded different footage.
2. Change in diet or maybe he came off (how shall I put it) - let's say substances that were not good for him.

Okay, the lighting thing makes sense.. but it seems more than squinting to me. Look at the intro to "I Want It All", with that massive light in their eyes (except delicate flower Roger, who kept his sunglasses on). Freddie would have to be squinting there but he doesn't look strange around the eyes.
