I don't remember John starting to play at that point. I could be wrong... but I thought after Freddie said 'You can take your clothes off for all we care', the crowd (two ladies in the front row, specifically) were encouraging him to take HIS off and he said, "Ahhh, f*ck off!" and laughed.

In one concert he says to the audience, before he starts Love of my life, something like this:

"Now, Brian and I are going to do a little duett. Roger and John are backstage... getting their usual blowjobs... Do you know what a blowjob is?" *audience cheers*
