I hope this is not about feeling unappreciated for all the sharing you have done.
Personally, for the occasional sharing I do - I try to view every download as a thank you (although getting my ego stroked with a thank you is nice but not necessary). Anyway, I am not always successful at keeping my ego in check, but I believe sharing should be about giving rather than about ego and feeling entitled to thank yous.
