Hey all. I'm school-aged and I live on the East Coast. I just found out that the Contenential Airlines Arena concert in Jersey is the only date that PReen plans to play at in the tour. Of course the date is October 16, and I found out the date as soon as it was posted here (good job richard.) which was around July or early August. October 16 is on a Sunday, and both my parents said that I couldn't go because it was a school night!! Yet my 14 yr old older bro wants to go to some Def Leppard concert in Nissan Pavillion on October 10, also a school night. My parents are considering it!!They say that he can handle it because he takes so many friggin naps instead of doing homework. This is rediculous!! I'm a straight A student! Pleeez sign here if u all agree that this is some bogus crap, and if you agree that I should go to the Queen concert! :-D

You probably can't even get tickets, but it's always worth trying to manipulate your parents! But hopefully Q+PR (or Preen like you said!) will do a full tour here after Japan.
When I was 16 my parents would not allow me to see Queen in Chicago, 1978:
The Stadium was in a bad and dangerous neighborhood.
It was too cold and snowy.
I was too inexperienced of a driver.
There were too many drugs at rock concerts.
Yada Yada Yada ...
... and I never did get to see Queen in concert.
I got over it (sort of, LOL).
You will miss a glorified Queen coverband playing only greatest hits. I think you will get over it.

Nah, don't put it into such simple terms. While it's not Queen per se, I'm sure it will be a Queen experience. Can't wait to see TYMD, '39, All Right Now, and hopefully some older stuff they didn't play in Europe.

I'm sure it will be entertaining, but not as good as a Brian or Roger solo show, where Brian or Roger did more than just rehash greatest hits. Even when Brian or Roger rehashed greatest hits in their solo tours, they at least reworked some songs. For example:
Roger: We Will Rock You
Brian: Hammer to Fall & We Will Rock You
And of course Brian and Roger performed songs in their solo tours. Brian and roger could breathe life into their 2005 tour by adding any of these previously unperformed (live) songs:
Princes of the Universe
Breakthru
I Can't Live with You
Made in Heaven
But Brian and Roger will probably be content with making a silk purse out of a sows ear, and stick with the greatest hits rehash.
Bob - By the way, did you get my e-mail?
