[QUOTENAME]John S Stuart wrote: [/QUOTENAME]Serry... "The man who can't be seen. Check Herbert Wells' book for more details".
(Or "HG" as he was known to his friends!!)

However Serry, that is only a literal translation of both the novel and the song.

A more metaphorical translation could be that it is someone who is "not heard", or "not listened to", or just plain "not taken seriously", therefore, for all intents and purposes - invisible.

On this level, the song COULD be viewed as political, Sexual, Racial, or whatever subversive meaning one would like to attribute.

Personally, I always wondered why, whenever I was in a room filled with beautiful women, I was ALWAYS invisible, no matter how much noise I made!

Condsidering it was inspired by ghostbuster, I doubt it had much meaning beyond the surface meaning but that's good because a group like Queen could release a song with a face value meaning and still get folks like John S Stuart debating it for yrs after the fact. The mark of a great artist.
It's about John.
John: "It's the one thing I wish I could do - sing."

That explains why there's young boy in the video...
That is so old! Can you be fucking serious? I'm tired of hearing about that stuff. Michael Jackson's (Possible) issues, arn't things we need to discuss here. Especially when young children visit this site. What kind of person continues to talk about people who might be a pedophile? I know I don't go around mentioning things to do with molestation, so I think you should stop as well.
Okay, I'll be fucking (young children must to know this word, yeah?) serious. And I hope you're really from Bhutan as your profile says. Be fucking serious, man! Seems like you have something against me - all your replies to me are about how bad and stupid I am though I don't know who you are even...

Sorry for off topic!

Maybe because if he kept on whitening you could have "seen right through him"?
take heed that yonder dog! Look when he fawns he bites, and when he bites his venom teeth will rankle to death

I also love this song!
"YOU CAN BE ANYTHING YOU WANT TO BE JUST TURN YERSELF INTO ANYTHING YOU THINK THAT YOU COULD EVER BE"
The parents of young children should really be screening websites before they allow their children on and they should think VERY seriously before allowing their children on an unfiltered board with unpredictable content. This is a website obviously oriented to adults and to some extent older teens. Most interactive internet content is designed for people aged 13 and over.

The original joke would have gone over the head of most children. However, they will now be going up to Mommy and Daddy and asking them what a pedophile is. Nice one.

I am speaking here as a teacher education student, by the way. It is the responsibility of adults on the internet not to BE pedophiles, but it is not their responsibility to make sure no child ever hears a joke about one. If parents want their kids to be ignorant and naive and not learn that there are bad people in the world until they get taken advantage of by one, then it's up to them to prevent that information from getting through. God forbid a child learn how harsh the world is the EASY way.

I know someone is going to flame me and say I shouldn't be anywhere near children and how dare I advocate parents taking responsibility for what their children do. Because we all know TV and the internet are supposed to teach children civility and morality! Not their parents!
Be nice to dragons, for you are crunchy, and go well with ketchup.
"pedophile" and "fucking" words came not from me. I am not sure that little children would understand what is connection between MJ and TIM video!
On the breakthru interview on GVH2, John Deacon said that The Miracle was originally going to be called The Invisible Men; could that be a reference to the band becoming less high profile regarding live and media appearances etc.

hmmm...about a man only able to connect to his audience through absence?

Why ask us where he got those glasses? Just ask his ghost.

While you're at it, see if they were purchased from the same place as the Mr. Bad Guy specs.

Hmm, can I borrow him for the weekend Jamie? I'm writing a song that I'm having a bugger of a time with, specially the opera bit. Could use some "Galileos" perhaps. You can send him regular post. Just throw in a bottle of Smirnoff for him along the way.

In all seriousness, for a bit of fun, let's test "Freddie". When Freddie was 12, at the St. Peter's School in Panchgani, India, there was an older boy of 14 who was fond of Freddie's company. What was the name Freddie used to address this boy?

No helping out on this one, people! Let's see how much Jamie's "Freddie" remembers about his life.
Thank you, God bless you, sweet dreams you lot of tarts, Good-bye!
Michael Jackson admits sleeping (non-sexually) with teenage boys, has obviously had a significant amount of plastic surgery, used to wander around with a chimp, and once issued a press release announcing that he would henceforth be known as the "King of Pop"...

...and you think his "issues" are alleged?????
