just a quick question for anyone who bought the magazine. What is that really old photo of the guys playin behind a blue background, with john on a very old fender and brian on a stratocaster.
also there is another photo, it must be an old film clip but john and brian are on opposite side of the stage than usual, does anyone no wat this is of.

Probably because when they played at that particualr place they had to use what they were given.

The Dutch Toppop perormance, was a last-minute arrangement. The band was basically in Holland just for a photoshoot, pressconference and some interviews.
Hence why they did not bring their gear!
While were already in Holland the chance of playing Toppop came up.
And so they used the instruments that were lying around the Toppop studio's.
