We're staying at Fairfield Inn-- the jacuzzi room was irresistible. Mary & I are bringing Moet & Chandon, Yeungling, caviar, crackers/cheese, grapes etc for the tailgate-- look for the dreads, beard, & black leather jacket-- let's get crazy!

My want is not to get lost in NYC :-)

I have spent a week in NYC before and was at a hotel only a few miles from where we are staying, the holiday inn.
Pretty much know the bus route from NJ to NYC. Last I remember was leaving NYC before 10:30 or face paying a lot for a cab to get back to NJ, as those bus prices are hard to beat.
we will be in NJ pretty early, I plan on 2-4 hours of sleep 1st since im driving from Michigan, and hitting NYC around noonish.

Looks to me like the buses (164) back to the Meadowlands in the evening are as follows:

7:50
8:50
9:50 (This is the last service that stops at the Meadowlands)

So you would not really want to stay in the city very late otherwise you are gonna have to pay a fortune for a cab back to the Fairfield Inn.

See I am confused about that because 164 says it goes to the Meadowlands. I don't see any mention of 163 going there. I wondered if the hotel got it wrong on their website? I don't know. I am confused.

Lisser, I dont have a cell, we really need to set up a metting spot, maybe leave a message at the front desk saying which rooms we are in, I think you can use the hotel phone to call other rooms free.
in all in all, if nothing else on saturday night, we can always play poker or what not in some ones room, like a small party =)

We can always invade the Sheraton, if the Fairfield gets dull...;-)
