If one more person asks what this song is about, and more than one time per MONTH, I personally think we should start one of those things like where you have a jar for people who curse too much, and every time they curse, they have to drop MONEY into it.

Well the next numbskull to ask what Death On 2 Legs/Dedicated To is about or who it is about in less than one week's time....MUST drop money into the Queenzone jar!

Or maybe we should start our own Queenzone Raffle...where which ever Queenzoner can correctly guess how many times this question has been asked, WINS a vacation or a car, some GRAND prize!

As Linda Richmond would say, discuss.....

That wasn't funny.
Probably why we need a good FAQ section. Then again, most people would probably still come here and ask...
Resistance is futile. You are now an orb.

"Which Queen?"

Probably it's about their 1st band manager, who's still trying to find his way to Memphis ....
"Where the F*** is Memphis?"

LOL ;-)

Cheers folks; may the jar be full before X-mas!
Sorry Arlene R., just kiddin'! ;-)

I do think this forum is in a bad need of an administrator/moderator/etc that could impose/enforce some rules and make it cleaner. The we'll (hopefully) soo no repeating posts/subjects/off-topics so often.
You can be anything... anything you think that you could ever be

No-one reads FAQ... Really... FAQ and Search button - are most least using things on QZ, I guess :-/
I'm not sure what is more aggrevating - people asking the same questions all the time, or people complaining about it.

People who don't search before they post are not going to change their behaviour. Ever. One behaviour we can change, is simply NOT CLICKING ON THREADS we don't want to view. (eg: Repeat questions, guitar knob questions, are all members of queen gay questions, where can I download Bohemian Rhapsody questions).

If every time a topic was opened and closed, it was archived and never discussed again, this board would be pretty boring. New members join and get yelled at constantly - let them put in their two cents. Some of them don't speak english well, and have trouble searching for information - it's far easier for them to ask in whatever english they know, and get a response here.

And if you don't like the title of the topic, don't click it! (I suppose I could have taken my own advice here! ;)

Just my 2 cents. I'll go back to being a lurker with less than 10 posts to my name! Peace!
I agree 100%, Donovan. It's one thing to make a harmless joke when a question is asked for the umpteenth time and another thing when people yell at the person asking. If users feel bothered by a question they can always ignore it. I find it even more annoying when people open a new thread only to complain about repeated questions. What kind of improvement is that supposed to bring to the board?
I do not want any google ads here.
I'm glad I didn't encounter some of the rudeness I've seen here when I first started posting on the noticeboard. I was a teenager when I first fell in love with Queen, and I KNOW I must've asked some F.A.Q. when I first got online and started posting. No one ever bashed me for comments I made or told me I was a "numbskull." Thank goodness, because I probably wouldn't have stuck around.
