quick question here.

i once read that a couple of months or so before Fred died Brian wanted to release Driven By You -but he wasn't sure about it cos of Freddie's condition - wasn't sure that it's the right time... and when freddie heard about it he said something like - oh, just release it, you will never get a better publicity than the one you get when i'll die...

is this story true? i mean - it sounds very much like Freddie, he had a great deal of irony and sarcasm in him, didn't he?

but i somehow think the Ford Motor Company worldwide TV ad campaign may have helped a little too!!!

I don't remember exactly, but I'm very sure that song was used in the US commercials as well. I remember a red car coming around a corner and Brian's singing would start.
