It was moreso that you got double Jake insultation with every argument: a) whatever people decided to insult him with, and b) whatever Jake tried to rebut these insults with. Both seemed to dig this giant hole which Jake was at the bottom of.
I much prefer election years. At least (sometimes) there are cogent arguments.
