[QUOTENAME]FOAMY wrote: [/QUOTENAME]From the tail gate party in lot 22 to the end of the show it was a great time. Yes there were technical glitches and mistakes from the band but who cares. The energy from both PR, Queen and espescially the fans made the show one of the best I have ever been to.
You were there? Which one were you?

I was right in front of the mixing desk so I kept watching for when he came out. I saw him and he was wearing this really wacky shirt. I think he must have got it in Aruba. I stood up in my chair and mouthed to him, "Can I take your picture?" He motioned me over and said, "Now why would you want my picture?" I said, "Because you are THE MAN!!!" I'm such a dork but what the hell do you say to the man that has made Queen sound so awesome for 30 years? I got his picture and he was friendly!!

Thanks Trip!!!
Did you bring your vidcam or no?
I did!

when I first read this topic 'Well, How was it?' I thought someone had just lost his/her virginity and now the good people of QZ want to hear all the details. Hahaha...

And now that I think about it again, I realize that, in so many ways, that's exactly what this topic is all about. People experiencing something so amazing for the first time in their life. I'm just glad so many of you had a great first time. There is a reason why they call it Rock n' Roll, you know. :)
[QUOTENAME]Maesta wrote: [/QUOTENAME] (Paul - well I had no idea who he was, I didn't like him doing Freddie's moves with the microphone stand).
Paul has been doing those moves for at least 35 years. If you knew who he was, you'd know that.

Glad everybody had a great time. Let's all hope they come back next year.
Blow it out your ass.
AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!!!!

New here, just found the site today looking for reviews.. AMAZING!!!

I will be looking for some of those bootlegs hope they come around.. Too bad I don't have the $$ I would be on my way to CA!!

I've been a Queen fan for a VERY long time now. Last night was the first time I've been able to see them live. Without a doubt, it's the best concert I've been to. Queen definitely rocked. I wasn't terribly impressed with Paul Rogers' rendition of the songs, although, in all fairness, I think I went in there expecting to hear Freddie.
Just the feeling of standing there, in the midst of 30-50,000 fans, and everyone clapping in unison to Radio-Ga-Ga was a dream come true.
I also brought my 14 year old son to the concert and he loved it as well. It's amazing how Queen and their music can touch and be appreciated by all ages of people.

Lisser - Can I also get a copy of your DVD when you have a chance? I would love to re-live last night over and over again.
[QUOTENAME]Mr. Scully wrote: [/QUOTENAME]"Same setlist as Aruba" vs. "Brian played '39" - so, who's right? Does that mean it was the same setlist as Aruba except that Brian also sang '39 before LOML just like during the EU tour?
'39 was added back in. *looks around and whistles as if guilty of something . . . ;)

I'm taking FULL credit for it! ;)

Cheers!

Best concert I've ever been to! It was awesome! The fans were great, Brian was great, Roger kicked ass, and Paul kicked ass. The person that made the first response to the concert, you are entitled to your opinion but I disagree with everything you said. So whatever.

I had a wonderful, wonderful time. I got to meet Erin, Pieter, Aaron, Shay, Cindy, I got to wave like an idiot at Paulie from my seat to his, I met William, his lovely wife, and their friend Cliffy, we just had an outstanding time. I could go on and on.

Special thank you's to Aaron and Cindy who really made this trip possible for me. I wouldn't have experienced this without you guys!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

:) My pleasure Melissa! Please email a copy of the shot of Trip, if you would be so kind!

Awesome night at the Axis Lounge, Saturday! ;) D'OH! The guy at the door was a treat though . . .
