This is just a guess but maybe the reason that the beginning of the show was stuffed with big hits was to get the audience into the show from the start. First impressions are critical so if people like the beginning, they will be more likely to really get into the rest of the show.

definitely one of, if not the best night of my life. brian almost made me cry when he said "This may just be the most amazing thing that's ever happened to us." most definitely seeing them again when they come back.

Now this, Ms Farenheit, is the important bit:
Blah, blah, blah... nobody cares and more blah

Actually, the important bit is that a few sentences into your pompous bullshit post saved the rest of us the time of reading any more. Maybe you're "Commander in Chief" can pull his lips off Bush's ass long enough to give you the good advice to pucker up as well. Bitch about the bully as much as you want, but remember that you are the bully's bitch.
Sorry to everyone else for the venom. I hate to see someone attacked for a simple question - particularly from someone from the 51st state.

OY! Stop calling us that, you're making me think that Manifest Destiny hasn't completely gone away...
Anyways, glad you all had a good time.
Can't wait for them to swing up to Toronto once they're back in North America.

It was a great night in NJ under a beautiful big full moon! The crowd was truly happy to be there. Everybody seemed to be standing most of the time, participating. Have to admit that the Eminem "Lose Yourself" intro was a bit off to me and although the Bad Co. tunes were done well, they were distracting from a totally QUEEN experience. (But in fairness, maybe some people bought tickets just to hear Paul Rodgers, I suppose.)
It was just great to remember the good old days of my youth through the awesome music of the night. It's great to sing at the top of your lungs to "Bohemian Rhapsody" after all these years!!
Peace!

To ok.computer....thanks for the history lesson on flags, asshole. Maybe you can use a flagpole to sit on and rotate.
I can confirm that the Union Jack was called such due to James I and the act of Union. If I recall rightly Jack is the Latin(??) equivalent of James.
Please note if this is incorrect forward all your mail to Dr David Starkey.

The show was absolutely fantastic....just so happy to see them play and see them happy playing too....Bad Company was a great addition to their setlist - Rogers drums Rocked, Last Horizon was fantastic...the whole show was...and to see 98% the fans standing the whole time, cheering, clapping, fist pumping and screaming.....just incredible....Paul did a great job too......and to Mr Slinky....you don't have to go next time....you can just wait for other DVDs but I think the other 18,000 fans want to see this again and again and again!
