I agree. It's a very soulful, amazing song with a lot of power and feeling behind it. Absolutely love this tune.

I'm pretty sure it came out of the "Teeth, Nose & Hair" band idea.
I can really imagine Rod Steward singing Roger's and Elton doing Brian's.

It's so beautiful especially because of the perfect harmonies. I sing in a choir and we do this song. It's heaven to sing it...

The way Freddie sings the first chorus, ("So let me live") there's so much power in his voice. Am I the only one who notice that? I mean even more powerful than usual on that particular line.

The problem is, now we have a new Director and he doesn't seem to like it as much so we are just doing new stuff and he won't let us play LML in concert...which of course is a total, absolutely terrible shame.
I'm trying anything I can to get him let us do it again, and also to put on Somebody to Love, which would be too wonderful to be true...He once promised me that last year, but he was drunk.....
