I looked at who wrote what and it seemed that John Lennon and Paul McCartney wrote all exsept 'Something' by George Harrison
So would you say that John and Paul are the lyric writters in the band?

no. you have to read more about how the beatles worked. In the early days Lennon & McCartney (sort-of) co-wrote most of their songs...but later on they wrote very-much individually - but agreed to co-credit everything...
arguably their finest single
strawberry fields/penny lane
is co-credited
but lennon wrote SF and mccartney PL
a good rule of thumb is that from Rubber Soul (65) onwards...McCartney wrote the poppier tunes, and lennon the more experimental
here's an example
Revolver album - is nearly all lennon,
sgt pepper album is nearly all mccartney
but as you can see they are all co-credited

The Lennon/McCartney credits is the same story as 'Queen' credits from 'The Miracle' and 'Innuendo'...

Except on the Revolver in the U.S where Capitol fucked with the song order and George ended up having more songs than John :)

Lol im not a BIG fan of them but im starting to like them alot now.
