How would you know how Brian feels about America? How long have you been a fan?
Because I just do, its quite logical. It doesn't even matter how long I've been a fan, I've been one long enough to equal someone who has been a fan for 10 years. I catch up quickly.
You're an imbecile.

Probably with me, but either way I'm still funny.
I'm with Lisser on this one, why the hell do you think he should write about every concert, he didn't write about Hyde Park!!

Freddie Mercury is my sexi moon lobster "Mis francais est la meme que before. C'est un peu crap"-Brian May "I'm just a musical prostitute, my dear!" -Freddie Mercury
Geez, these threads turn to shit quick, eh? Why don't you just ask me? I'll tell you why they skipped California:

On March 29th, 1975, Queen played two shows at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium, one in the afternoon, and one in the evening.

Now, at this time the auditorium was undergoing renovations, and the roofing refurbishment had been contracted out to two men who at that time were very little known in the mainstream. Those two men were Arnold Schwarznegger and his friend and fellow bodybuilding champion Franco Columbu, who subsidized their income as construction workers. After working most of the morning and into the afternoon, Arnie and Franco decided to lay back and work on their tans, while downing 6 bottles of peach schnapps in a very short time.

Arnold in those days was never known for being the most politically correct person in the world even when he was sober, and, spying our favourite musicians entering the building from their limos for their afternoon engagement, dressed as they were in those days, said to Franco "Hey Frankie, let's go fack doze schnitzel slurpers ap!"

Franco was most often the voice of reason and attempted to dissuade Arnold from making trouble, but quite simply put, Arnold outweighed Franco by almost a hundred pounds and could move very quickly, even when he was smashed. So off Arnold went!

To make a long story short, on coming off-stage following the show, Queen came face to face with a mountain of Austrian beef, who proceeded to slag them up and down, both in broken English and in his native tongue, droplets of spittle flying out from the large space between his upper incisors, and from his lower lip.

Following the barrage, Freddie, in typical fashion, simply said "Oh dear, is America out of cretins? I didn't know they'd taken to importing.." A look of disbelieving comprehension began to dawn across Arnold's face...

Needless to say, Franco arrived just in time to tackle Arnold and hold him down until the band had passed, Freddie chuckling to himself, John trying to conceal the wet spot on the front of his trousers. Brian however was most offended and told the rest of the band that if someone like that ever became a figure of importance in California, he'd never play there again. So there you have it.

Disclaimer: None of this is true - Arnold is my idol, and I know for a fact that he has never uttered a word that could be interpretted in any way as discriminatory to gays, women, ethnic groups, etc. He is a model of everything that is great.
Thank you, God bless you, sweet dreams you lot of tarts, Good-bye!
Jesus, you can't expect Brian to go about writing whatever you want him to. Doesn't he give us so much anyway? The wonderful music? The photos, the autographs, the fantastic shows? Give him a break! Being on tour is a tricky business and very tiring. He said himself in his latest soapbox report that he's very busy. Explains everything if you even bothered to read it.

We should be so grateful to Brian for everything he does for us, the fans. Isn't it about time we gave him something in return and showed the man a bit of respect?
