Has anyone else noticed that this is the first tour that Brian is playing wireless? What happened to the coiled guitar cord that usually tethers the Red Special to the bank of Vox AC30s?

Does anyone know what wireless unit he is using?

Brian was also wireless in 1998

technology has become so much better that Brian now uses wireless systems, years ago the system was not good enough for him compared with cable. But now it is.
Hey Jim!

Brian's been wireless for quite some time, but still refrains from wearing his clogs onstage. Go figure! No cords to get caught between his foot and the shoe.

I wish I would have run into you at the Bowl! It would have been the second Queen gig that we'd both been to!

Cheers!

ps: If you're in the market for a guitar, Jim's your guy!

Does anyone know how complicated it would have been to keep all those wires from tangling up in the olden days? Especially with Freddie running all over the place...anyone here have experience with that in a band? I never understood how he and Brian weren't tangled up for the whole show....

Don't worry, I think he's already found a new obstacle:

Poor little guitar player... ;-)[/QUOTE]

Hey Raf: I heard about that from a friend who was there. Curtain problems in NJ, LA, and Yokahama! I hope Brian wasn't injured.

Yaah! Sorry to hear that, I hope that wasn't the cause of not being able to make the interview in LA!
I heard or read him say it's way easier to use and that he plans to not go back, but that there is the slightest dip in quality. All I know is that it sounded perfect enough to me on the tour.
Sooo... back to the original topic.

Is Brian using a Sennheiser wireless unit? In the program, there is a thank you on the company page with Sennheiser listed. I also found out some info on his Wah pedal since Dunlop is listed also.
